| Obverse description | Four-fold quartered coat of arms of the County of Stolberg displayed within a circular inner ring, bearing the joint titles of co-rulers Christoph II and Heinrich Volrad. A circular Latin legend surrounds the shield, running along the coin's periphery. The heraldic design is rendered in the late medieval hammered style typical of small German territorial coinages of the early seventeenth century. |
