Reverse description A bold cross pattée centred within a beaded inner circle, dividing the inner field into four equal quarters, in the tradition of the French gros tournois type. A small lis or decorative element appears at the top of the cross above the inner circle. The central cross device is enclosed within a double legend, with an inner circular inscription and an outer circular inscription separated by a beaded border, both rendered in Gothic uncial lettering. The overall design is a close adaptation of the Tournois reverse type, consistent with the widespread imitation of French gros tournois coinage across the Holy Roman Empire in the late medieval period.
