Obverse description Central quartered shield of arms set within a beaded inner circle, displaying the Hohenzollern checky pattern alongside the Brandenburg eagle in alternating quarters, all rendered in the bold relief characteristic of mid-15th-century hammered coinage. The shield is flanked by decorative elements, and a Gothic Latin legend in uncial script runs continuously around the periphery between the beaded border and the coin's irregular rim.
