| Reverse description | Displayed Silesian eagle with spread wings, facing left, occupying the central field within a beaded inner circle. The eagle, the heraldic symbol of the Duchy of Bielsko, is depicted with radiating feathers and a decorative breastplate. A small shield or initial mark appears on the eagle's breast. The peripheral Latin legend, reading PREEVNTE DEO COMITE FRT:, meaning 'God going before as companion', encircles the design and reflects the personal motto of Frederick Casimir. The die work is consistent with late sixteenth-century Silesian hammered silver coinage. |
