| Reverse description | A Spanish-form quartered shield bearing the combined arms of Bavaria and Pfalz, with an inescutcheon at centre displaying the Paderborn arms (a cross), the whole superimposed upon a crossed sword and sceptre. An electoral hat surmounts the shield, all within a beaded inner border and surrounded by the circumferential Latin legend of the issuing bishop. The heraldic composition is typical of early 17th-century ecclesiastical German coinage. |
