The surrounding circular legend reads ERN. D.G. COL. AR. EL. A. H, referencing Ernest of Bavaria as Archbishop-Elector of Cologne and administrator of Hildesheim. The field is plain and the coin exhibits typical hammered fabric with slightly uneven flan. |
