Reverse description Central device consists of a crowned oval shield bearing the four-fold quartered arms of the Duchy of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld, flanked on either side by elaborate palm branches extending upward toward the princely crown above. A circular Latin legend surrounds the entire composition, with the denomination mark GHE appearing in the lower field below the shield. The rim is defined by a milled border.
