Reverse description The reverse displays a four-line German inscription in large bold Roman letters across the field, reading the denomination and coin type. At the top, the numeral I appears flanked by rosette or quatrefoil stops, followed by SILBER on the second line, GROSCH on the third line, and the date 1621 on the fourth line. Below the date, the Zellerfeld mint mark appears within a small shield or cartouche. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border, characteristic of the hammered coinage of Lower Saxony during the Kipper und Wipper period.
