Reverse description Displayed Prussian eagle with spread wings occupying the central field, crowned and facing right, with a sceptre-form ornament on the breast, all set within a beaded inner circle. The eagle is rendered with characteristic feather-ray detailing on the wings, typical of mid-sixteenth-century Prussian coinage from the Königsberg Mint. The circumscriptional legend surrounding the eagle identifies the issuer as Albert, by the grace of God Margrave of Brandenburg and Duke of Prussia, separated by star and trefoil stops.
