| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field displays the crowned arms of the City of Hannover — a stepped castle or city gate above a shield charged with a cloverleaf or trefoil device — enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The mintmaster's initials MB appear prominently above the shield at the top of the inner circle. The circular Latin legend MONETA NOVA HANOVER runs around the periphery, separated by pellet stops, in the characteristic angular lettering of early 17th-century German hammered coinage. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central device consists of the Imperial orb — a globe surmounted by a cross, bearing the numeral 24 to denote the 1/24 Thaler denomination — set within a plain inner circle. The date is divided to either side of the cross. A partially legible circular Latin legend surrounds the design, referencing imperial authority, with pellet stops separating the words. The overall style is typical of hammered Groschen produced for circulation in Lower Saxony during the Thirty Years' War period. |
