Obverse description Central field dominated by the elaborately interlaced royal cipher 'FR' (Fridericus Rex) rendered in ornate Baroque script, surmounted by a large royal crown with elaborate detailing. The date appears in the lower portion of the field beneath the monogram. The design is contained within a plain circular border, with no peripheral legend, the cipher occupying nearly the entire flan in a bold, decorative manner characteristic of mid-18th century Prussian minor coinage.
