Reverse description Central cross pattée of larger size at the centre of the field, surrounded by four smaller cross pattées arranged in the quarters, with four additional smaller crosses filling the intermediate spaces, forming a symmetrical nine-cross composition within a beaded inner circle. The overall arrangement is characteristic of the Lusignan gros coinage of Cyprus, reflecting the crusader artistic tradition. A second beaded circle frames the cross arrangement, with the legend IHRLM ET CIPRI REX — abbreviating the royal title 'King of Jerusalem and Cyprus' — inscribed in uncial Latin letters around the outer margin.
