Obverse description Central field depicts a crowned figure of the queen enthroned facing, rendered in the Gothic style characteristic of late medieval Lusignan coinage, holding a sceptre in the right hand and an orb in the left. The throne is flanked by decorative elements on either side. A beaded inner circle frames the central design, with the royal title legend running in uncial Latin characters around the periphery within a beaded border.
