| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field displays a quartered coat of arms combining the arms of Burgundy and Flanders, set within an inner circle and surmounted by a decorative helmet crest. The shield is divided into four quarters, with the heraldic devices of each territory rendered in low relief typical of Burgundian hammered coinage. A cross pattee element frames the central device, its arms extending toward the inner beaded border. The circumferential legend in Gothic uncial lettering runs between the inner circle and the outer beaded rim, separated by pellet stops. The overall composition reflects the formal heraldic style of the Burgundian Netherlands workshop tradition. |
