Reverse description A cross pattée divides the reverse into four quadrants, with a fleur-de-lis at the center intersection serving as the mintmark of Bruges. The four quadrants display alternating heraldic lions and fleurs-de-lis in relief, characteristic of Flemish Burgundian coinage of this period. The peripheral legend in Gothic uncial script runs along the outer rim, interrupted by the arms of the cross. A beaded inner circle frames the central design. The composition follows the standard Vierlander type established under the Burgundian monetary reform.
