Reverse description Central field bearing the Lithuanian Vytis (mounted knight), the heraldic symbol of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, with the date of mintage inscribed in the field. Below or beside the Vytis appears the Tykocin mint mark in the form of a horseshoe surmounted by a cross, alongside the coat of arms of Stanisław Myszkowski, Voivode of Kraków, as the responsible mint official. The reverse is encircled by a beaded border and the Latin legend MONETA*MAGNI*DVCAT*LITVA, denoting this as the coinage of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania.
