| Obverse description | Central field features a short cross pattee within a beaded inner circle. An inner legend reads + ROBERTVS:COMES, while an outer legend surrounding the inner ring carries the devotional inscription + PAX: DOmINI: SIT: SEmPER: NOBISCVm, punctuated by triple dots throughout. The legends are rendered in Gothic uncial characters typical of early 14th-century Flemish coinage. The overall composition follows the standard Parisian-influenced groot format established in the Low Countries. |
