| 背面描述 | Long cross pattée extending to the beaded inner circle, dividing the field into four quadrants each containing three pellets arranged in triangular formation, a design characteristic of Henry VI groats. A beaded inner circle frames a central lozenge or annular motif at the intersection of the cross. The outer legend in two concentric bands reads POSUI DEUM ADJUTOREM MEUM and CIVITAS LONDON, the latter identifying the Tower of London mint. The entire design is struck on an irregular hammered flan with the bold, slightly uneven relief typical of mid-fifteenth-century English silver coinage. A hole pierced near the top rim is consistent with that visible on the obverse. |
