Reverse description The reverse displays a large plain cross pattée at center, occupying the full width of the inner beaded circle and dividing the central field into four equal quadrants. The cross is enclosed within a prominent beaded inner circle, outside of which a second concentric band carries the inner portion of the legend. The outer field, between the second beaded circle and the coin's irregular rim, bears the continuation of the lengthy Latin devotional and titular inscription. The lettering is rendered in gothic script characteristic of early 14th-century Brabantine coinage, with pellets used as word separators throughout.
