The crown features five tall fleur-de-lis rising from a circlet. The bust is rendered in the characteristic late medieval Scottish hammered style, enclosed within a plain inner circle. The surrounding legend, separated by pellet stops, runs in uncial Latin characters between the inner circle and the beaded outer border. |
