| Obverse description | A large crowned Irish harp occupies the central field, rendered in hammered relief with detailed string-work and a scrolled forepillar. Flanking the harp are the crowned royal initials H and I (for Henricus and Iane, referencing Henry VIII and Jane Seymour), each surmounted by a small crown. The entire device is enclosed within an inner beaded circle, with the Latin legend running in the outer annulus between the beaded border and the coin's irregular rim. |
