The king is depicted with long flowing hair falling to the shoulders, wearing an arched and jewelled crown, and robed in elaborately detailed drapery visible at the truncation. The bust occupies the central field and faces three-quarters to the right. A beaded inner circle frames the effigy, with the royal legend in uncial Latin characters disposed around the periphery, separated by saltire stops. |
