The cross arms terminate in stylized floral or trefoil motifs characteristic of the Floerken type coinage. The field between the cross arms is plain. A beaded inner border ring separates the central cross design from the surrounding circular legend. The reverse follows the standard gros tournois-derived format widely adopted in the Low Countries during the late medieval period. |
