Obverse description Crowned facing bust of Edward IV set within a tressure of eight arches; pellets ornament the lower three spandrels of the tressure. The effigy is rendered in the characteristic flat, stylised manner of late medieval Irish hammered coinage. A beaded inner circle frames the design, with the surrounding legend running between the inner and outer borders.
