| Beschrijving keerzijde | A bold voided long cross with splayed terminals extends to the coin's inner circle, dividing the field into four quarters, each containing three pellets arranged in a triangular formation — a distinctive feature of the Edwardian groat series. Each angle of the cross is adorned with a trefoil ornament. The legend is contained within two concentric circles of beading and reads in two parts: the devotional inscription and the mint name. The reverse design, visible in the image, shows clear evidence of hand-hammered production with typical irregular flan striking. |
