| Obverse description | Central field bears the arms of Grand Master Manuel Pinto de Fonseca, displaying three crescent moons arranged in a triangular composition, a heraldic device associated with his lineage. The design is rendered in low relief on a plain field. A continuous Latin legend encircles the central motif along the periphery. The coin is bordered by a raised toothed or beaded rim. The overall style is characteristic of mid-18th century Maltese copper coinage. |

| Reverse description | Central field displays a prominent eight-pointed Maltese cross in high relief, the defining emblem of the Order of St. John, with incuse date numerals visible between the arms of the cross. A circular Latin legend surrounds the cross, separated from the central device by an inner border. The entire design is enclosed within a toothed or beaded outer rim. The reverse composition is bold and well-centred, consistent with standard Hospitaller copper coinage of the period. |
