The bank title BANQUE NATIONALE DE LA RÉPUBLIQUE D'HAÏTI arcs along the outer border in bold capitals, while elaborate engine-turned scrollwork cartouches and paired monogram counters fill the lateral panels. The denomination UNE GOURDE is set in a rectangular guilloche panel at the foot of the design, with the printer's imprint below. |
