Beschrijving voorzijde	At centre, the denomination UNE GOURDE appears within a large oval guilloche frame, flanked on the left by a vignette of a banana tree within an oval border and on the right by a decorative monogram medallion. The issuing authority BANQUE NATIONALE DE LA REPUBLIQUE D'HAITI is inscribed across the top, with the convention text and three manuscript signatures of bank officials along the lower portion. The imprint of American Bank Note Company appears at the foot of the note.

Beschrijving keerzijde	At left, an oval vignette contains a coffee bush rendered in fine intaglio engraving, enclosed within a decorative guilloche border. A central rectangular panel carries a bilingual text block setting out the terms of the note's convertibility, surrounded by intricate lathe-work ornaments. To the right, a second decorative medallion mirrors the obverse monogram, with the denomination UNE GOURDE inscribed along the lower margin and the printer's imprint at the foot.
