Obverse description Central shield bearing the arms of the Bishopric of Minden — two crossed keys in pale — rendered in low relief within a plain inner circle. The shield occupies the majority of the field, with no surrounding legend. The hammered flan displays an irregular edge characteristic of small medieval bracteate-style pfennig coinage.

Reverse description Blank, uniface strike with no design, inscription, or devices. The reverse shows only the unworked surface of the hammered flan, consistent with the bracteate or semi-bracteate tradition of small northern German ecclesiastical coinage of the late sixteenth century.
