Reverse description A central escutcheon bearing the quartered arms of the Archbishopric of Cologne — divided into fields of ermine and the Cologne cross — is flanked by two smaller shields: to the left the arms of the Electorate of Cologne (a plain cross), and to the right the arms of the County of Moers (barry with a bend). A fourth small shield at the base displays a lion passant, associated with a secondary lordship. The entire armorial composition is surrounded by a beaded inner circle, with the mint legend inscribed in the outer legend band between two beaded borders.
