Reverse description Heraldic composition centred on a large quartered shield of the Palatinate-Bavaria arms, displaying the Palatine lion and the Bavarian lozengy arms in the principal quarters. The central shield is flanked by four smaller escutcheons arranged in the angles of a six-pointed star formed by two overlapping triangles, bearing subsidiary territorial arms including the Palatine rose, the eagle, and further heraldic devices. The entire device is surrounded by a beaded border with the abbreviated Latin monetary legend in uncial script distributed around the periphery.
