Obverse description Full-length frontal figure of Archbishop Otto of Ziegenhain, vested in ecclesiastical robes and wearing a mitre, holding a pastoral crozier in his right hand while raising his left hand in a gesture of benediction. The figure is rendered in the flat, stylized Gothic manner typical of Rhenish goldgulden of the early fifteenth century. A circular legend in Gothic uncial script surrounds the central effigy, reading OTTONIS ARCPI TR.
