| Obverse description | Central field displays a quartered heraldic shield combining the arms of the Palatinate (barry) and the Bishopric of Regensburg, surmounted by the date 1523 flanked by small rosette ornaments. The shield is set within an inner beaded circle. The surrounding Latin legend reads the administrator's title and name, running clockwise in Gothic lettering between the inner and outer borders of the coin. |
