附加信息	John II of Nassau held the archbishopric of Mainz during one of its most turbulent financial stretches — the see had accumulated crippling debts through the late 14th century, partly from the costs of contested episcopal elections. His goldgulden issues of this period were minted against that backdrop of institutional insolvency, and Mainz's participation in the Rhenish currency union meant these coins had to conform to strict weight and fineness agreements policed by the neighboring electorates of Trier, Cologne, and the Palatinate. Felke 630 is a recognized discrete type within John II's emission sequence.
