Reverse description St. Paul depicted enthroned in full episcopal or apostolic robes, nimbed and holding a sword upright in his right hand and a book in his left, rendered in the late Gothic manner. Flanking the seated figure are tall candlestick-like columns, with a small figure of an angel or saint visible in the upper left field. The Waldeck arms appear on a small heraldic shield directly below the throne. A Latin monetary legend is inscribed in the surrounding field within a beaded border.
