Beschrijving voorzijde Enthroned frontal figure of Saint Peter, patron of Osnabrück Cathedral, depicted with nimbus, seated on an elaborate Gothic throne and holding a key in his left hand and raising his right hand in benediction. Two ornate Gothic architectural canopies or tabernacles flank the saint on either side. Beneath the enthroned figure, a shield bearing the arms of the Bishopric of Osnabrück is prominently displayed in the lower field. A beaded inner circle frames the composition, with the abbreviated Latin legend distributed around the periphery.

Beschrijving keerzijde Central large heraldic shield of the Bishopric of Osnabrück, bearing a cross with a small escutcheon of Brunswick (two lions passant) at its centre, flanked by two subsidiary shields: to the left, the Osnabrück wheel and crescent device, and to the right, a quartered shield with the arms of Brunswick-Grubenhagen. The entire composition is supported by two rampant lions as heraldic supporters at the base, with the arrangement surmounted by a decorative crest at the top of the field. A beaded border encircles the design, with the abbreviated Latin monetary legend and the date distributed around the periphery.
