| Obverse description | Central quartered shield with rounded top, pointed base, and concave sides, displaying the four-fold arms of the Fugger family: upper-left quarter bears two lions passant, upper-right a standing female figure (the Fugger lily), lower-left three horizontal wavy bars, and lower-right a fleur-de-lis or similar charge. The shield is set within an inner circle, surrounded by a circumferential Latin legend in the outer border. |

A circumferential Latin legend referencing Emperor Charles V runs in the outer border, separated from the eagle by a beaded or linear inner ring. |
