Reverse description The crowned Virgin Mary, seated and facing slightly left, holds the Christ Child before her, both figures rendered in late Gothic style with flowing drapery. Duke Albert IV kneels in prayer at the lower right, depicted in profile wearing ducal robes, his hands raised in supplication toward the Madonna. The composition is enclosed within a beaded inner border, with the votive legend distributed around the periphery of the coin. The scene reflects the personal Marian devotion characteristic of the Bavarian Wittelsbach dynasty.
