| Reverse description | Full-length standing figure of Franconia, crowned and robed, facing slightly left with right arm outstretched releasing a dove of peace, while her left hand rests upon a shield bearing the arms of Franconia. The exergue contains the inscription SPQW (Senatus Populusque Wirceburgensis). A circular Latin legend in the outer field reads FLOR BORA DI VNO HOC GER MIL PAC IS, commemorating the Peace of Hubertusburg and the flourishing of Franconia under divine blessing. The composition is strongly allegorical and typical of German baroque commemorative coinage of the Seven Years' War peace period. |
