| Reverse description | The central device consists of a large, elaborate royal crown rendered in high relief, occupying the majority of the inner field and enclosed within a beaded inner circle. Below the crown, the mintmaster's initial F is visible in the lower field. The surrounding Latin legend, divided by the inner beaded border, reads NORV·VAND·GOTO·Q·REX·1619·R·F·P, completing the royal titulature with the date of issue and mint officer initials. The outer rim is defined by a continuous beaded border consistent with hammered gold coinage of the period. The reverse composition is bold and heraldically authoritative, consistent with the prestigious gold krone series of Christian IV. |
