| 背面描述 | Central crowned shield of France semé of fleurs-de-lis, flanked on either side by a crowned Gothic letter H, the royal cipher of Henry II, all set within a beaded inner circle. The crowned shield and royal ciphers are rendered with fine detail characteristic of mid-sixteenth-century French hammered coinage. The date 1549 and the mint mark L for Bayonne appear integrated within the circular Latin legend on the outer border. The legend is punctuated by ornamental stops and reads continuously around the coin. |
