Reverse description Four-line Latin devotional inscription ABVNDET / IN / GLORIAM / DEI displayed within an elaborate baroque cartouche adorned with acanthus scrollwork and surmounted by a grotesque mask at the apex. At the base of the cartouche, flanked by palm branches, appears the small shield of Monsignor Casoni, the papal treasurer, serving as the mint official's mark. The coin is struck with a finely reeded border encircling the entire reverse field.
