| Reverse description | A draped female figure personifying the Holy Mother Church kneels in left profile, her arms raised in supplication toward a radiant glory of divine light emanating from the upper field. To her right stands a stylized architectural element suggestive of a basilica or church facade, reinforcing the ecclesiastical allegory. The date 1707 appears in the lower exergue. The circular legend FIAT·PAX·SVPER ISRAEL, meaning 'Let there be peace upon Israel,' is inscribed around the upper and lateral periphery, separated by a small star. The entire composition is executed in the high baroque style characteristic of Papal coinage of the period. |
