Descrizione del dritto	Central round hole flanked by the state name in Latin script above, reading 'LIBAN' arranged along the upper rim, and in Arabic script below, reading 'لبنان', arranged along the lower rim. The date '1940' appears in two parts flanking the central hole at mid-field, with '19' to the left and '40' to the right, accompanied by the mintmaster's mark 'C' below the numerals. The design is plain and utilitarian, with all legends incuse into the flat field.
