| Reverse description | A central round hole is flanked symmetrically by two facing lion heads in high relief, each set within a spray of leafy branches that extend laterally across the field. The Arabic denomination غرش وَاحد arcs across the upper field. Below the hole, the numeral 1 appears on either side of the Latin denomination PIASTRE, with the Gregorian year 1929 and the Arabic-Eastern numeral date ١٩٢٩ displayed in the lower field. The word ESSAI appears in the exergue, confirming the pattern status of this piece. A beaded border frames the entire design. |
