Popis rubu	Central round hole flanked symmetrically by two facing lion-head medallions set within foliate sprays of olive or laurel branches. The Arabic denomination غرش واحد arcs across the upper field above the hole. Below the hole, the numeral 1 appears on each side of the word PIASTRE in Latin script, with the date rendered in both Western Arabic numerals and Eastern Arabic-Indic numerals (e.g. 1931 · ١٩٣١) in the lower exergue. The whole design is enclosed within a beaded border.
