Below the hole, the numeral 1 appears on each side of the word PIASTRE in Latin script, with the date rendered in both Western Arabic numerals and Eastern Arabic-Indic numerals (e.g. 1931 · ١٩٣١) in the lower exergue. The whole design is enclosed within a beaded border. |
