Obverse description	Left-facing bust of Emperor Haile Selassie I, depicted in high relief wearing the Imperial Ethiopian crown and richly embroidered ceremonial robes adorned with a pectoral cross. The effigy is rendered with fine detail, showing the Emperor's beard and distinguished profile. A circular Ge'ez legend surrounds the portrait within a beaded border, reading the full royal titulature identifying the Emperor as King of Kings of Ethiopia. The lower portion of the field beneath the bust bears additional Ge'ez inscription.
