| Obverse description | At center, the Vasa wheat sheaf emblem divides the denomination numeral on either side, all within a beaded inner circle. The sheaf serves as the dynastic symbol of the House of Vasa and is rendered in a characteristic crude hammered style typical of early Swedish copper coinage. A Latin legend encircles the design outside the beaded border, identifying the king by name and royal title. |
