正面描述 Central shield displaying the four-fold arms of Regenstein, surmounted by an ornate crested helm with elaborate mantling extending into the field. The heraldic device is rendered in the German Renaissance style typical of mid-16th century hammered coinage. A circular Latin legend surrounds the design, with the names of the joint rulers partially legible around the periphery.

附加信息

The County of Regenstein was one of the more obscure lordships of the Harz region, its territory squeezed between the expanding ambitions of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel and the Bishopric of Halberstadt. By 1565, the county was already in its terminal decline — Regenstein would be absorbed by Brandenburg-Prussia within decades. The joint issue under Ernest I, Botho, and Caspar Ulrich reflects the partitioned co-rulership arrangements common among German dynastic houses of the period, where inheritance fragmentation often produced coins with multiple regnal names that survive in very small numbers today.
